Disaster relief

Send relief partners with state convention-led Southern Baptist Disaster Relief (SBDR) chapters to meet urgent needs of communities in crisis. We offer a national platform for building awareness, training and fundraising, so the needs of your community can be met during a crisis.

SBDR has been around for 50 years, providing all kinds of disaster relief including hot meals, clean water, child care, laundry, structure repairs, rebuilding and more. With a trained volunteer force exceeding 80,000 people, SBDR fuels the third largest disaster relief agency in the United States.

SBDR has gained national and international recognition for services in crisis situations across the continent. State convention leaders invest significant resources to providing proper training for volunteers. SBDR volunteers stand ready at a moment's notice to help the hurting and bring hope during a catastrophe.
