This Office Manager works closely with staff and church leadership to support the overall ministry of the church attending to a wide variety of responsibilities, including administration, communication, event planning, and general ministry support.

Position: OfficeManager

Status: Full Time

Primary Responsibilities  and Tasks of This Role:

Organize and maintain church files that support staff, leadership, connection, and corporation. Oversee incoming and outgoing mail.


Create a welcoming environment while performing tasks including receiving guests, scheduling meetings, and responding to voicemails, emails, administrative support requests etc.


Order and stock al needed office supplies and create and maintain space for shared supplies making ti available and organized for efficiency and assistance. Oversee regular maintenance and upkeep of all office equipment and office technology.


Accountant support to CPA for processing.


Maintains calendar for the church through Planning Center Oversees reservations and scheduling of the facility use partnering with and communicating to the facility coordinator.


Maintain and update church records using the database software with knowledge and competency to provide assistance to others as well as an ongoing learning and innovation with a mission mindset.


Oversee accurate input and maintenance of people tracking through Planning Center to lead in and incorporate changes to software updates and how to apply with effectiveness toward mission including teaching leading and assisting others.


Helps with preparation of meetings and events as requested.


Responsible for relational communication and administration.


Regularly identify and get to know people and their roles whether staff or ministry leaders and recognize the structures, procedures and practices that support each ministry and how they work together.


Define and prioritize objectives and tasks and identify areas to include volunteer support and team building.


Our  Team

This position reports to the Director of Operations and works closely with all staff, ministry leaders and volunteers.


Your Schedule

This is a full time position (40 hours per week).


Requirements

Attend and participate in at least one weekly worship service

Attend or lead in one or more disciple-making small group environments • 

Participate in al hands on deck events as determined.

Attend weekly relational team meeting and monthly business meeting.

A willingness to make decisions with sound and accurate judgment while including appropriate people in the decision- making process. Effectively follow through without heavy oversight.


An ability to generate new ideas without the prompting of leadership with creativity and "out of the box" thinking. Frequently looks for ways to improve with an ability to monitor their own work to ensure quality.


An ability to work well with staff and volunteers of varying personality types with good communication skills and relational abilities and is willing to seek relationship first.


A general knowledge and experience in administration, computer skills and a willingness to learn, grow and expand knowledge and understanding of strategies, team building, and efficiency in managing the church office with a missional mindset.
